The 3rd of ESO students have been analyzing
nutritional values using the USA government's official site. Once we have
become familiar with the specific vocabulary and all the food groups, we have
moved on to analyze the food ingredients and the quantities necessary to
complete a healthy menu, having in mind its nutritional value.

FOOD, Inc – the documentary
We have watched a film about food production
industries and all the 'veil' that covers the reality of what we eat. It's been
rather demanding, with a lot of new vocabulary, a number of different accents
and an extensive comprehension activity.
After having done all the work, the students have participated in a real-life
blog, giving their opinion on what they have learned. Most of them have
participated in the blog using their teacher's name:
